Oil production in Brazil has been breaking records in recent months, exceeding 3 million barrels per day. Now, that number will be even greater with the installation of the 4 new platforms that will operate for the Brazilian pre-salt.
The new FPSOs are expected to reach an average production of 180,000 barrels of oil per day. Undoubtedly, a grandiose project, but the team of engineers at HBR was prepared to design and build the best solution!
HBR supplied the Vapor Recovery Units and the Dew Point Control System by Refrigeration, which is the first system of this size ever made in Brazil.
Check out the FPSO elaboration process.
The project made by HBR will be all installed in an FPSO that will go to the field of Sépia.
Count on HBR to implement major onshore and offshore projects!
The participation of the HBR team of engineers in the new platform involved everything from the planning and specification of the components, to 3D modeling, technical documentation, manufacturing, assembly and testing phase.
